    Hi all,
Not sure if its the one that fuelled a interesting debate but the heated windows are back on Grand Designs on More4
    Cheers

    Mike

I saw it on the +1 channel and listened intently. The term 'U-value' was used once in the programme for the heated glass: it was described as 'better'. Better than what?

The term 'insulation' was also used in passing - I assume this was for the roof, as there didn't appear to be any in the walls.

With respect to the heated glazing, I so far have been unable to find any hard and fast facts - it all seems to be smoked and mirrors...

There is a fair bit of information in the rather long running, and somewhat acrimonious in parts, thread from when we originally debated this stuff, here: http://www.greenbuildingforum.co.uk/forum114/comments.php?DiscussionID=8288&page=1
