  1.
In a bathroom, is the best position for an extraction fan right above the shower cubicle? Or is there some reason not to have it positioned above the shower?

Maybe opposite end of shower? (1200 x 900)

I intend to run a humidistat controlled fan but also switched on with the light, is there any humidistat fan with LED?

    Thanks

12v one above the shower, in the ceiling is nice, where will the air come from that is being extracted? under the door? then from where?

yes, I understand the rule of air circulation BUT I did read that people complain of cold draughts with the vent in teh shower cubicle...

I'd like to do it once, do it right.

As just a basic 12v fan, no heat recovery etc what would be bets controls? Humidistat, timer etc? any decent brands/makes?
