I'm really interested to hear what other people say in their green building blogs.

I'm betting there's a few other people blogging about their experiences with their new eco build, eco reconstruction of a home or green lives. I'd love to read about it!

Anyway, you can find me at www.bogblog.org

Looking forward to reading more (because I'm nosy?)

Figured this might be worth a bump after two years, rather than start a new thread.

I'm also interested in blog-style build stories - I'll hopefully be starting my own soon.

Any new ones to add to the list above?

Does my intermittent rambling about elements of our conservation retrofit count? (On various parts of earth.org.uk.)

If anyone is interested I have updated my blog at www.borpin.co.uk. If anyone wants any specific details on what has been done and how let me know as I probably have a photo of it somewhere.

    Mine's here: http://edavies.me.uk/blog/

If you want to avoid the non-housie bits: http://edavies.me.uk/blog/tag/houses/

Sorry, haven't done Atom feeds for the individual tags yet though posting this is a good reminder that I should get round to implementing them.

(BTW, put in an offer on a plot at the end of last week. Scary! Actually, two plots - they were on BOGOF that day. Probably on account of them being, well, bogs. So if anybody want a cheap but wet plot about 20 miles S of Wick on a clear hilltop overlooking the sea to the south then get in touch.)

Ours is here, except we've delayed start until March:

  3.
    I've started one at http://www.shrubberycottagecheddleton.co.uk
but it's retrospective because it has taken us 5 years to do, and instead of doing the blog as we did it, I was too busy actually doing it and trying to make money to pay for it all!
We have taken loads of photos so I just have to get round to filling it all now.

Great project. Must have been awful having to cut up the foundation - so glad you got it rectified. Did you blow in the insulation - couldn't see a picture of that?
  5.
owlman, thanks for the comments, I've only got as far as the photos show. I've got internal wall studs up and the ducting for the MHRV in but that's all I've done inside, still got the external wall insulation to put in then the brick slips, cedar cladding and soffits to finish the outside.

seascape, I'm hoping to use Icynene insulation and when I get to that stage I might be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel!
