I'm told our local council has a thermal imaging camara available for loan. I know others here have asked about the availability of thermal imaging camaras so thought I'd start a thread where you can list the details of where to borrow such equipment. So here we go....

    http://www.ruralcc.org.uk/thermal-imaging.html

The RCC's thermal imaging camera is available for loan to communities in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutlanr.

also train volunteers to use our thermal imaging camera. This detects infrared radiation and produces images like this one, enabling users to see the key areas where heat is being lost.

Once volunteers have been trained they are able to make bookings to borrow the camera.

Kirkbymoorside Environment Group (KMEG) bought a thermal imaging camera with a Lottery grant from the ‘Awards for All’ scheme. We hope the camera will help local people cut the amount of heat lost from their homes, so saving money on their energy bills as well as reducing the carbon footprint of the town.
