I am looking for a mechanical extract ventilation system to extract from 3 shower / bath rooms and a utility room over 2 floors. I would like a single remotely sited fan which comes on with movement detectors in each room plus a timer control in the utility for drying clothes, operating a damper for that room, so that only the occupied room(s) get extracted.

That way, I can tee all the pipes into a single duct leading to the fan, which will be located in an insulated loft space.

Background ventilation is via trickle vents, so no MVHR required.

I just don't know if such a thing exists.

Paul , look for CEV - centralised extract ventilation.

You can buy what you describe, but perhaps the dampers will be tricky?
Systems I have seen have one fan but run all the time/on a timer based control.

    Good luck
  1.
do they do a mvhr version of a cev?
  2.
That would be a MVHR unit - unless I don't understand your question...
