    Just to follow up on this, I got a BC certificate in June 2016. They were utterly uninterested in ventilation. No remark about lack of trickle vents. I pointed out vent on wall and that was fine. No checking of flow rates, nor looking at MVHR unit.

    (As it happened that was a fake vent as I decided not to include the extension in the MVHR area as it's not heated, so good that they didn't check too hard as it could have got awkward at that point).

    I had a similar experience, although I believe the onus is on the installer to send the document rather than on the inspector to ask. I also think it's not clear whether the commissioning document is to be sent to your building inspector or the local BCO, regardless of who you used. Long live confusion.

    I am hoping I don't have to prove compliance but if I do there are plenty of people on here that can help me ( I hope).:cool:
