It will then display lovely graphs of my usage and will probably chart them against the weather and give me an idea of whether or not I'm managing to reduce my usage over the months and years. Imeasure doesn't do a bad job but as I can find nothing on their website to say how much they are going to start charging I'm unwilling to commit to an openended financial pit!

The larger, more detailed data from the RPi I put into a spreadsheet once a week and can chart what I like from it.

Or you can download from a local Weather Underground site (where are you in the country).
The Met Office has loads of local data too.

To be perfectly honest, Degree Days are not that useful really, they are only good for a first approximation.]]>
