I appologise for the shameless plug but Richard Heinberg will be doing an event in Leicester on March 31st and Megan Quinn on april 2nd in Market Harborough 17 miles south of Leicester.

Both events are being arranged by Transition Town Market Harborough, both events are £5 and you can email me for more details on tickets.

Megan has a free date in her Schedule on March 31st and will be in the south West if anyone wants to host an event.

    Best regards

    Darren

theres no shame in plugging events on this thread that might be of value (hence the title events and courses) but you havent told us what the value might be.

Well worth reading the blog of Rob Hopkins who started the Transition Initiatives at http://transitionculture.org/ and buying The Transition Handbook. I've just about finished reading it, and it's inspiring (after you get through the introduction to peak oil and climate change!).

Ah, the value would be an expansion of awareness on the subject of Peak oil, maybe preaching to the converted in this forum though :o)

Thus introducing the concept to a whole new generation/demographic of the country... grand.

Just need to get it into EastEnders and Corronation street and I might consider watching them :o)
