I've heard mention of a little nifty fan that can be placed on top of
a wood burning stove to send more heat out into the room. Any tips
on a good quality one ? A link would be useful, o.k so I said this a little earlier, but I get a real buzz from clicking on links, so please don't spoil my fun

I built one myself. The fan was a 24V ex-computer tangential fan, the control board was of my own construction. Very different to the eco fan, my unit is about 2" thick and hangs right up against the flue register plate, so other then the noise and the draught you don't know its there unless you get on your hands and knees and look up at it.
Frank

Thanks Caliwag, for the clickable link info. So you consider these fans a 'Toy ' eh, Scarlett ? Well on the whole people's experiences seem to be quite positive. One man's meat and all that,I suppose. Not that I'm thinking of eating an Eco fan mind you, Thought I straighten that one out .... Chuckey, you sure sound clever ! If your invention is more efficient than the Eco fans, then you could go into production with the design, who knows where it could lead .... Hey don't forget who gave you the idea eh
