One of the solid external walls on a potential coach house project will require Rebuilding. What is the preferred method?

Could I rebuild in timber frame? Or is masonry best to match existing. I was hoping to use IWI for the project so thoughts appreciated

Perhaps talk to the planners? Sometimes they want replacements of this type to match the existing and sometimes they want anything new to be obviously different. If it was timber with “IWI” - presumably infill + internal - then what would the cladding be?

    Cladding could be timber?
