After a bit of a break, I'm cracking on once again with the timber framed bungalow renovation.

To re-cap, the original external walls are comprised of (inside to out) 6mm board, 3" uninsulated stud, 1" weatherboard, .5" cavity and pebbledash on chicken wire. This is being improved as I work around the house to plasterboard, 7" insulated stud, 1" weatherboard and 100mm EPS EWI.

I'm going to be turning a large cupboard in to a little shower room next. This cupboard, it would appear, used to form an inset porch way entrance to the house, and at some point a single skin of blockwork has been applied with window above, parallel to the original timber walls to block off this entrance and make the area an internally accessed space. Given that the exterior is going to be insulated in EPS EWI, how should I insulate this small section block wall internally? Alternatively tile directly on to the blockwork, live with the 0.30 u value and put in a bigger rad!
