    If building yourself why wouldn't you just run then under floors before hanging ceiling?

    You're the one that asked about holes through joists! You tell us why.

    What exactly do you mean by under floors anyway? Do you mean under the joists? How are you hanging the ceiling?

    In my (admittedly limited...) experience, nothing beats a technical shaft...

    delprado you aren't making a whole lot of sense. You either have no idea how to run them and are seeking an exact spec, or you've devised some idea and want to know if it's right. Which is it?
