OK, it's 3 years since we finished, I really need to move out some of the leftovers.
I am in the South West (near Wells in Somerset, 15 miles south of Bristol).
    I have the following:-

7x 25 litre poly drums of Coolflow IGE Inhibited Ethylene Glycol. All unopened.

"Antifreeze for RAC & HVAC systems. Ethylene Glycol and BS6580 & ASTM D1384 proven Corrosion, Scale and Biological Inhibitors to protect metals commonly found in chillers, air conditioners and refrigeration systems."

It came with my heatpumps, intended for the primary fill but there wasn't enough and I used an alternative product from my ground-loop provider instead.

Anyone interested please msg me. I will ebay it in a week or so if no takers.

And I've still got this taking up valuable space in the sheepshed store.
If anybody wants it give me a shout. I really do have to get rid of it soon.

Hi there - not sure if you have found a home for this - mentioned this to my local solar engineer who is rescuing my solar system (half installed and company went bankrupt) He asked what price you were looking for?

    If gone already no matter.

    cheers

Ethylene glycol is fine for RAC & HVAC systems but is not normally used for solar [water] systems since it is toxic.

Most solar systems are used to heat domestic hot water and should use polyethylene glycol antifreeze (PEG). I'm surprised your solar 'engineer' doesn't know this?

He says he dosen't install heat pumps - just the heating systems they feed. Was just interested when I told him that there was some be advertised.
