Umm. How many years campaigning for a better world with more justice and equality for humans and other species and a healthier environment? Too many for where we are right now i think.

It seems that all we have to show for it after all that effort is a selfish -'"I''ve got mine get yours if you can afford it"- stitched up system that can barely think outside it's over-complicated box.

Don't get me wrong I would occasionally argue that I'm a fan of passivhaus but do we really need more of the same sort of bossiness and control freakery that's all other walks of life burden us with nowadays?

Sometimes I think getting old is a good thing. Lol
In terms of education and more acceptance of an elemental approach try AECB's CarbonLite Retrofit scheme. I don't know yet how the certification bit works, but the training is good on the building physics.

Keith, the world has moved on phenomenally since you founded AECB - don't underestimate your personal influence and enabling, thro GBF as much as thro what AECB became. No one said it would be easy or quick. Even Trump and similar idiocy is signs of end-game approaching, disintegration that's always there before (hopefully bloodless) revolution.
Tony, your post appears here and in http://www.greenbuildingforum.co.uk/newforum/comments.php?DiscussionID=15041&page=1#Item_2. Presumably it doesn't belong here?
