Does anyone have any experience of waterproofing/tanking products to apply to an internally exposed footing and below DPC blockwork? My new extension is lower than the existing building, a former external wall is now a seperating internal wall, and the level drop is such that I have about 450mm of below DPC block/footing exposed internally which I need to waterproof. The subsoil is free draining and pretty dry as we at the top of a chalk slope, but I want something to prevent damp ingress on this now internal wall before I cover, likely this section will be batten and PB'd once treated. Theres a myriad of tanking products out there, anyone have any experience of these?
