Just about to place an order for my timber caressing and the merchant is asking whether I want it to be "wolsit" treated. I've never heard of this before and just assumed the internal stuff would be untreated.

    Should I bother?

All ours is untreated. Internal timber shouldn't suffer fungal attack but might conceivably suffer if you happen to be in an area with termites, I suppose.

All mine is untreated too, indoors wood is so dry woodworm won't eat it, it should not be getting wet so no other treatment necessary. In longhorn beatle areas you might need to treat against them.
