A friend of mine is looking at MVHR for a new build and is looking for a supplier. As my supplier went bust and I would not recommend them anyway, are there any suppliers that are worthy of a recommendation?

House will be in central belt of Scotland.

I use Genvex or Boulder. Is this materials or supply and fix?

I had a good experience with Green Building Store (Yorkshire based) in terms of system design - they also supply and produced an itemised schedule etc. for ordering.

Install, commissioning etc. is a separate service so I can't comment on that as we are going for someone more local to us.

BPC get lots of recommendations for design and supply (they aren't the manufacturer).

Used these about 6 years ago, very happy: http://www.thebuiltenvironment.co.uk/acatalog/index.html

They used to offer various packages - for us they did design & supply, a half day training for our builder and then the commissioning after the builder installed it.

I used ADM Systems about six or seven years ago and they were very helpful.

I now go direct to the manufacturers and install/commission ourselves, mostly because it makes it easier to coordinate stuff on site like that, but also because I have very little confidence in the average installer's ability to follow drawings, building regs, and make airtight joints. Ventaxia and Silavent will both design a system for you - then take it to your favourite merchants and get them to quote against the design.
