I have a 70mm cavity (out of interest does anyone know what the average is for a 20s or 30s house - I was pleasantly surprised mine was this big), and there are some gaps (around air bricks, in areas where I will be filling windows in, etc), what should I replace with? I can't use eps (which is what my insulation is) as I dont be able to stop it going everywhere, etc.

I'd like to know what you find out.

I assume if it's a 20s or 30s house the cavity has been insulated recently, so it's full fill (in theory). This makes it more difficult I think.

There have been some firms I've seen offering to full fill partial fill cavities with a different insulant.

PVA eps beads blown or poured in
You have EPS beads in there already? But there are gaps? As tony said, I would top up where you can with more of the same. That's what I have been doing with my partially-filled foam 1950's walls. Topped off with EWI in the future.
sounds like a job for the mighty foam gun
