Can anyone help me please - I'm looking at using a Samsung EHS MONOBLOC 9KW Air Source Heat Pump. The manuals state that the unit will supply cooling if required (and I know they have a defrost cycle if necessary in the depth of winter).

However my heating supplier says that "Samsung do not do a reversible (cooling) model for the UK market". Is there a good reason why the UK models are restricted in this way.

Perhaps because it would make it ineligible for RHI?

    Have you asked Samsung?

edit: also there seem to be UK sites that mention the cooling EER spec, so maybe your supplier is not correct?
