    Depends what you mean by a Green Deal - you use capital letters so I assume you mean just like the last one. In which case: I agree.

    Something more like Germany's KfW (I think it's called) programme would be better. Proper support for proper whole house, holistic projects with low inflation rates, certainly no higher than inflation.

    Some "carrot" in the form of stamp duty reductions for performant houses would be welcome, and maybe some stick for the worst offenders (making it revenue neutral).

    Unlikely to work with the quality of administrators that will devise and then be in control of any such Scheme

    Few people know or care that

    The improvements made under the last system were mostly never recorded on the EPC's Register

    As there was apparently never a requirement to do so .
