A client has been offered a good price on an Intergas Eco RF 30 boiler, with the next price up being a Vaillant. I have not come across Intergas before. Has anyone had any experience of them?
My boss has one and it has been on lpg as offgrid. Few issues but maybe with the lpg side and a faulty regulator.
JonG recommended them on several gbf threads, so I put them on my list, but never actually bought one in the end

Randomly the bosses boiler packed up last night, turns out it is the external lpg regulator and all the faults have been with that

So in fact no issues whatsoever with it
Thanks both! W-in-A, I had forgotten JG had extolled their virtues. I e-mailed him last night and he kindly replied this morning with an e-mail confirming that he still rates them highly.
We're planning on installing one as I hear they are bullet proof.
Nick can you post the response out curiosity?

I've got one. I installed it about 6 or 7 years ago and it's presented no problems at all in that time (feel like I am jinxing things by writing that). So so far am very happy with it.

That's with me falling behind on getting yearly services too.

The only small difficulty I had was finding an Intergas approved installer to put it in. I did find one but I think they are a little harder to track down than might be the case for more common brands.

I have an intergas combi and its been perfect for the last 5 years, I did a lot of home work on what type of boiler to fit. I even went on the Intergas course with my plumber. We were both impressed with them and after fitting my boiler he carried on fitting intergas, with no problems, so far !!
    hope this helps.

Thanks, both. Very helpful. General experience seems to be good. I have not yet been back in touch with my client to see what he has gone for, but suspect it will be the Intergas.
