    Reposting this as I'd posted it in free speech!! and couldn't see it when not logged in
    See link below (this is via Centrica - no connection) for their stratification hot water tank – something we here have been well aware of for some time. Interested in peoples take on this. Maybe everyone has seen this already, maybe not.

    As we've discussed / studied stratification many times for the larger heat store discussion I'm interested to see peoples views when applied to a smaller domestic HW cylinder. Is it a marketing ploy or not.

    I already wrote: I hadn't seen it before, so thanks. It looks like an interesting product; I'll need to think about it a bit to decide how useful it is. It has an impressively long warranty but does require an annual service and limits how hot you can run the tank. It also has a strong desire to be Internet connected, which puts me off even more.
