    I've just come across Enova thanks to a mention in a podcast; their business / charitable model seemed interesting.

    They're a social enterprise and Australia's first community-owned renewable electricity retailer, encouraging local communities to use and invest in decentralised renewables.

    Apart from offering good feed-in tariffs, if you've no space for PV you can buy panels in a solar farm and be credited or debited in real time, more-or-less as if it was on your own roof. Their charitable arm is also working to get panels on social housing, so their tenants can benefit.
