Seriously, is this the real Mccoy or just a smoke and mirrors trick?

How can shower water be any more contaminated than bath water?

Bl**dy H*ll!!!!! Needs to be replace every few months, so buy three. Normal price for three, £449. but a special offer, reduced to 125! Bargain

Well, it seems to be a genuine product - there are several variations on Amazon at lower prices. I don't understand your question about bath water; what are you referring to?

It seems to be a combination of an 'eco' shower head, with lots of small holes, together with in-built water softening, which means it only lasts for a little while. I'd suggest it was more sensible to buy a separate 'eco' shower head and water softener.

edit: Duh! When I said water softener I meant water filter. They typically include softening and filtering.

Cool that it increases water pressure when you turn it on. Maybe the water companies could give them out for free and avoid having to build water towers & pumping stations?
