Hello. Finally on site in Monmouthshire with new build 300m2 oak framed house. ASHP to heat both underfloor heating and hot water. Needs to be very quiet as we are in a quiet location and we may have table and chairs about 15m from the fans (albeit slightly hidden).

I need to choose asupplier. There are a lot of them out there - could I canvass your opinions on which companies to approach? Manufacturer or agent? National or local?

I've looked at the previous post "how to choose an air source heat pump" which wasn't much help because after the second post the thread got hijacked by people discussing deeply technical issues!

I'd just like to know which companies I should approach for a design and a price. Many thanks.

So to date there are 19 replies to my post with the subject as above but MVHR instead of ASHP. Does that mean no one cares about air source heat pumps?!

I think it means that there is no one national installer that can be recommended. I've heard of some good ones out there but they are all regional and not in your region otherwise I'd recommend them.

Why don't you find out who is installing them locally to you and then "stalk" them on social media. The good ones tend to talk quite a bit and you can see their work and hear from happy customers.

    Good luck!
