    I came across this responsible retrofit guidance wheel, at the Sustainable Traditional Buildings Alliance.

    I've only been playing around with it, but it seems like a pretty comprehensive tool for decision making and better understanding retrofit challenges in houses.

    You start by setting the context of the house, for example whether it's heritage, listed or other. Then you input exposure, energy use, user interest and number of exposed sides. As a result it puts together a wheel of graded technical, heritage, and energy concerns. It also provides connections to related areas of concern. For example, it may show floor insulation with connections to heating system controls and airtightness.With all elements,it provides links to research.

    I thought I'd post the link here as so far I think it looks very good and a great resource for anyone involved in green retrofit building work.
