Just looking for a basic hygrometer to keep in a shop and the office to record temperature and humidity.

Any recommendations? Nothing too fancy, perhaps something that records a max. and min.

    Thanks

You could try something like the Shelly H & T. I've had a couple running in a couple of places for months now and they're doing fine. If you can, go for the usb power version.

Looks interesting. :) Does it have to use the cloud or can it connect directly to a device on your own LAN? Is the data accessible other than as a display in an app?

    From https://shellystore.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/ShellyHT_User_Guide_EN_web.pdf

    Additional Features
Shelly allows control via HTTP from any other device, home automation controller, mobile app or server. For more information about the REST control protocol, please visit: www.shelly.cloud or send a request to developers@shelly.cloud
I know some of the other Shelly devices can do MQTT but I'm not sure if that's only after they've been flashed with Tasmota.

I'm mildly interested as I currently have pretty much as many temperature and humidity sensors as I want except I don't have them in the bathroom as all mine are mains-USB powered.
