Thanks for replying.

Yes, brand new. Its to replace an old SB 3000TL which failed, but the 3.6 has a lot more set-up options to choose from. I can make a good educated guess, but I could do with a bit of confirmation.

I've emailed SMA for help, but to date I've not had a reply.

Do you have anything like the screenshot attached in your set-up?
This is just one of the items I'd like to know exactly what to set it as.
I'm erring towards "off" ..............

Quite often with these type of situations it is difficult to get a response if you are not registered, or an installer, or in the trade. Having trouble at moment getting info from the manufacturer of my wife's car I am currently repairing. You just get ignored no reply one way or the other. Good Luck with finding the info you need.

Try Talk Electrician forum there are a couple of guys on there who are PV knowledgeable one on there was extremely helpful when I was doing my install. Think he has special experience of SMA.
