Does anyone have a trade lead to German kitchen suppliers?

We use Howdens and Wickes for the bulk of our kitchens but looking for an upmarket supplier...

    Thanks

The German manufacturers might be judged to lead on design, but not necessarily quality. As far as I can see there are three elements to a kitchen
    - hinges, drawer fitments, fancy pull out mechanisms etc. All the companies buy them in from the same few supplies (Hafele or one of a small number of others). those companies have a few different grades of drawers etc. These probably make more difference to how well the kitchen lasts than anything else.

    - Cabinets. there are different ways of building with more or less material but it doesn't make that much differnce if well fitted
    - Doors. Nearly all are mdf with some sort of coating. quality varies.

Best cabinets I've ever had were from a UK co https://mereway.co.uk/ Complete rigid, solid tops, thicker back panels than any others I've seen. Well worth a look. That was probably c15 years ago and their design options were a bit limited at the time but look better now. We fitted a simple white one in a rental flat that's had a hard life and still looks like new after > 10 years.
