It has this cryptic diagram on top
I presume it shows flow direction but apart from not knowing which is external and which internal, it does not seem to agree with the picture in the install guide.
Can anyone enlighten me?

It might help if you told us exactly what model of MVHR you have. Also see p4 of what I presume are the installation instructions for an explanation of the symbols.

It is a Vent Axia Sentinel Kinetic Plus B.
They also sent instructions on swapping the control panel to the other side.

I did realise that; I should have mentioned.
Ours is a plus B so the one on the right (which as shown is configured as the right hand version). For my situation I need to switch the control unit side to make the left hand version which in the manual puts the supply to the dwelling in the back right corner.

The symbols in the first post show - supply top left; extract bottom left.

The 3D image (RHS) shows - supply bottom left; extract top left.

Now I'm getting paranoid, as I've fitted several of these over the years. Looking back at my duct drawings and the manuals, they match the 3D image, not the one in he first post snapped from the unit itself.
