Has anyone else had issues with getting an insurance quote for a building incorporating SIPs?

I have an Oak Frame section of the house with Kingspan SIPs and on searching for a new Building's Insurance quote have come up against an unwillingness to quote as it is regarded as "an increased fire risk". Queried and went to a ''higher underwriter' but still the same answer.

    Thoughts?

Any suggestions for a Broker to try (this was NFU).

As you can imagine, we might have had problems with insuring a straw bale house, or rather we would have except we use a broker https://www.independentinsuranceservices.co.uk/ who has given us very good service over the years.

Not sure how we came to be using them but have been very happy with service from https://www.lansdowninsurance.com/

We have a few requirements that are unusual - SIP built/flat roof house for buildings and some valuable bikes for contents. Given that many insurers seem to changes their T&Cs from year to year if you've got anything non-standard it seems much easier to use a broker
