What ho one and all,

Not a housing issue, but just interested.

There is a small building net to my local station. Was previously a coffee outlet but has been empty for some time. Recently, The Arch Co (owners) did a major refurb in preparation for renting to A.N.Other.

My question is regarding whatever they have used for the floor. As the photo, it is a very flat, even high gloss. I know it was poured, but what could it be? It looks like water!

Thanks and toodle pip

Rex

Probably a type of resin. Remember seeing an American you tube video ages ago doing a similar floor. The contractors walked over the floor with spiked shoes whilst they poured and spread it. Guess one would need to be careful not to splash the walls. Looks like a nice job from your photo. Suppose not dissimilar to laying a liquid screed floor.

When I saw it being poured, I did think it was a liquid screed. But never though to ask. My floor was a liquid screed and looked nice shiny when first poured.
