			<![CDATA[I'm finding MVHR a relatively inexpensive to run option to keep house humidity down. Today is a good example;<br />Outdoors; 9.5C 86% RH<br />Off of MVHR; ~18C 46%RH<br /><br />If I lived somewhere more arid, just opening windows periodically would probably be a cheap, sustainable solution. Or humidity controlled passive stack ventilation. But here, have to throw a lot of heating at that warm damp air to push its RH down enough to actively dry things. Or run dehumidifiers.<br /><br />The other location dependant factor is wind exposure. It's often really windy here so naturally vented houses are really over ventilated. While not very well sealed, the mvhr has allowed me to draught proof a fair bit.]]>
