			<![CDATA[Void or flat roof? Mould pattern suggests (a) no insulation and (b) poor ventilation in the room, but you know that! I wonder also if there is insufficient ventilation in the roof void, making the plasterboard more moist (and 'receptive to mould') than usual.]]>

			<![CDATA[Looks like developing on the space between the rafters and as Nick states suggesting no insulation and no ventilation. Room not heated sufficiently? a lot of moisture in the air we breath out in a bedroom and being closed up no general air movement. Check if there are vents in the soffits.]]>

			<![CDATA[Does the property have a current epc? Does it meet the current standard? ( if the tenant has been there long enough it may not have/need a current epc). <br />Has the tenant documented a reasonable number of contacts with the landlord/agent  about the issue?<br />Has there been any response from landlord/ agent?<br />Is the room being ventilated and heated appropriately? <br />Is the property appropriately occupied ( ie not overcrowded)?<br /><br />If all the above has been covered then best thing is to contact the private sector housing department at their local council.]]>
