Revor: I'm not sure if your post is specifically directed at me or not, but thanks for the offer anyway. Now that I have opted for a "conventional" solar PV system (i.e. no more roof top microinverters) I trust that we should never again need to access the roof, as I do not anticipate the PV panels failing (hopefully not famous last words!) and hence will have no need for scaffolding.

No it was a general post as scaffold had been dicussed on this thread and I happened to be sorting my stuff out at long last as needed the space in the shed to cut my logs for winter fuel.]]>
