Thinking of aluminium clad windows for all exposed area on the South Wales seafront (150m above sea level)

Any good? Website looks decent but can't find too much information on them, last post on here was 2015

Or any other suppliers? Rationel came in very high from initial costing exercise.

He suggested not to go for the really low u value ones they do and to go fit the ones that will get it down to 1.1 which will be more than plenty.

Anyone have experience with Senior? Seem very similar to Smart. Will be interested to see the costs that come back.

He was familiar with taping the windows and happy to mount externally so I can EWI after.

There's a 25 year guarantee on the powder coating and would use stainless screws and hinges etc. but they can only do external opening as opposed to tilt and turn.

He did suggest tilt and turn aren't the best for exposed areas.

Only reason I can think of is due to the compexity of the operating mechanism. He mentioned fully and turns have a lot more to go wrong in his experience. He also mentioned that with the exposed area outward opening are always better. Is there actually a reason to have tilt and turn? No point in is being able to clean if the other fixed panel doesn't open mind...

He suggested against the really low u value ones, based on cost versus impact and 1.1 will be more than sufficient. He's going to price both for me but he thinks it's overkill.
