I want to build a timber frame onto a barge.
The structure is an open plan 50ft x 18ft, one storey high (apart from a 2 storey section measuring 13ft)

We wont be starting work for about 3-4 months yet, but once started will need to continue till frame is watertight.

I need help in building and errecting the frame, and dependant on rates, fitting windows, doors, insulation, cladding etc etc
This project would suit some looking to do an unusal project to add to their companies portfolio, or perhaps someone looking to start out on their own.

Every step will be blogged on boating forums and this forum, and full rights would be given to use the project for PR . advertisment, so plenty of exposure for the right chap(ess)

I have some rough drawings so if you would like to have a look. The boat is currently on the Medway - kent, however she could possibly be moved. or if you have the capacity to build the frame then transport it to her ....(?)
There may be the possibility of living in a caravan / motor home on site until she is warm, dry and lighted, then we could move onto her till job is done.

Im very flexibale and dont have any pre conseived ideas how this should be done - so suggestion welcome.

if interested please email tiggy748ATtalktalkDOTnet for plans.
