I have recently received planning permission to convert a stone and lime pigstye on my plum farm into a one story house. I am looking for a one man band builder who has experience of building houses from scratch and knows a bit about environment friendly building materials. Due to the credit crunch I don't have enough money to finish the project but probably enough to do the shell. I would like to start at the bginning of August and the job would last at least a month. My farm is uncertified organic and has 1500 old plum trees and a lake. Accommodation would comprise a tent but there is fresh water. But you wouldn't have any expenses
and the Forest of Dean is lovely in the summer.
