I'm in the final throws of an MSc in Environmental Management & Technology at Mancs Uni.
The thesis is on solar heated hot water panels. There is very little UK based reliable data.

Having looked at articles, papers, some 'test bed results' and what the 'SAP2005' is based on, there is a serious mismatch on what others conclude to be or accept as rigorous data.
So, my thesis is to collate and analise as much UK data as I can get, and so increase the knowledge base, decrease conjecture and maybe dispell a few myths along the way.

    Can anyone help?

You could try asking over on the Navitron forum - http://www.navitron.org.uk/forum/

There are plenty of people there with both solar and detailed data logging capability.
