Excellent issue, agree with Biff...best issue yet, definitely a "cover to cover" job. Recommending on the Ebuild forum which is getting more "green" questions and was listed in The Independent recently as one of 101 most useful websites. Green building forum's turn next year. The Independent love their lists...might be worth a prompt Keith, they do a pretty good Wednesday property supplement...well done.
Great issue with a good set of articles but I must say I find the "Insight" sections a strain to read due to the coloured/textured backgrounds (poor eyesight).
Also the mix of small ads/advertorials in the back section I don't like. Better for me to keep these separate.
Yes the insight section and the green background on the products section will all be lightened or changed in the next issue. What do you mean by Comic text please Mark?
Printing coloured writing on coloured paper is getting very common. My theory is that magazine editors read their copy in brightly lit offices or just on big computer screens, while we read them curled up in the glow of a wood stove.
Perhaps I should have said "font." (Comic Sans MS if you have MS office, if not then the one that looks like its hand written. Hope this clarifies things :-)
I'd describe it as some of the headings, sub-headings (certainly to the "Insight" section) all the footnotes and references etc. Say pg 8 "New Arts and Science...." pg 17 "Others promoting green building include...."
