    I have just seen Pilkington energiKare glass which looks ok but there info managed to not say what U value it actually achieved does anyone now how good it actually is?

    A sealed unit with one leaf of 4mm clear float/16mm argon cavity/4mm k glass has a centre pane u value of 1.5. The equivalent using Saint gobain Planitherm total intead of Pilks K gives a value of 1.2.:bigsmile:

    incidentally, yesterday I read 'Windows and Glazing in the Bible, which answered the question which pilks web site did not give,

    could not believe I had missed article before then!
