    Hello,

    I am trying try to make some infrared pictures of my house, to check for heat losses.
    I just modified my webcam like this

    http://www.hoagieshouse.com/IR/

    but it would still need an infrared light source (2.5 lux sensitivity) . Is there anything else, like a CCTV module I could hook up to my PC?

    The house heat leaks are the IR light source.

    These mods won't work for that purpose as the cameras aren't sensitive enough at the wavelengths that you're interested in; OK for taking dramatic photographs though.
