    We have replaced an almost Victorian heating system here at work with a Combi boiler
    as a result the old 75 gallon = 340 litre indirect copper cylinder is going for scrap, but i could buy it at scrap price
    I was going to retain my existing 210 litre cylinder driven offen oil and log burner
    and then install the 340 litre to feed the 210 litre
    as I have not yet made my mind up about installing a solar domestic hot water system
    it occurs to me that this big cylinder would be a good start
    we have plenty of room in the roofspace for it( supported on a 150mm thick wall, btw)
    so with 5 adults showering , what panels ( evacuated tube? ) pump and managment system is recommended?

    Coil needs to be very efficient ideally for solar & at bottom of cylinder.
