			<![CDATA[What's a duvet?  Seriously, we gave up on those ages ago and went back to blankets - aren't they made of wool?  We sleep much better under them - something to do with the weight, and if we wake up too hot, we just peel one off.  I think we should bring back blankets and make those from local wool instead.]]>

			<![CDATA[Each to their own. I have a duvet with a handstitched wool-filled traditional quilt on top. They were frequently made with an old blanket as wadding.<br /><br />I also have  a lovely old blanket which was made from the wool from a farm in Westmorland; it used to be the case that a household would collect its own wool and send it off to be woven.  These were prized possessions.]]>
