However just as I type this I have opened a link to the Building magazine [issue 32]. Max Wilkes takes an in-depth looks at what kind of schemes the Housing Corporation wants for the funding it provides us with.

To improve design and construction quality one of the corporation initiatives requires that 25% of the dwellings it funds, through social housing grants, must use modern methods of construction.

I would assume that this requirement combined with the need for us to reach Code Level 3 is where this rumour originated. Thank you for your assistance, I think we can safely say that this myth is well and truely BUSTED!]]>
