			<![CDATA[As the budget for our new home seems to be growing exponentially, I would like to consider rubble trench foundation as an option. Can this design be hybridized as a frost protected shallow foundation (I live in eastern Canada) if the rubble trench is insulated on the exterior and with horizontally slanted 'wings'? The house plan is 24x32.<br /><br />Concrete actually seems to require less of that money stuff when compared to the cost of delivered 2-4" stone, enough to fill a  20" wide wall.
