At the meeting they asked if I could put a gate at the exisiting entrance (the one Highways say I can't use)for pedestrains which is no problem & Architect & I had already planned for one
In the letter they are asking for a chunk of someones garden - it is bizarre - no mention of it was made at the planning meeting
I just popped into the Local Shop for some sweeties and X (Mr Y's son) said "Bet you're pleased about the nursery?" I said "Well not really - I think it's off" "Why? the planning committee were all for it" "Well they want ABC's garden & I can't even ask him - he has been so generous about the field"
"what do you mean? Hang on I'll get my dad......"
Anyway Mr Y(on planning committee) looked at the letter & got his agenda out
"That's not what I asked for.....I wanted a gate where the entrance is now"
Long conversation - but basically he took a copy of the letter and he isn't very happy - he will be ringing Mr Z(at planning) on Monday am. This is not what the committee intended (apparently)
