Do any of the eco loft insulation products like thermafleece et al come thicker than 100mm? I know I can double/triple up, but would be easier if I could start thicker!
  1.
I like to layer insulation, one layer covers joins and structure to reduce thermal bridging of the layer below!

I've discovered Metisse recycled cloth insulation is available in 180mm thickness batts. Anyone used it? Is it any good?

Recovery Insulation (recyc cotton) is available in 140mm thickness.

Thicker, without layering, is it not necessarily better. It may be easier but the creation of air gaps at the joints can seriously undermine the energy performance.
