Derbyshire Eco Centre writes: "Building on the success of our first year, Derbyshire Eco Centre at Middleton-by-Wirksworth will be holding a Sustainable Building Fair on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th June 2011 as the first of an annual series of themed sustainability events.
On Friday 24th we are inviting local students to have a go at some of the skills taught at the centre and later in the day will be hosting talks and debates and the chance for those in the trade to network over supper.
On Saturday we are open to the public of a fun celebration of sustainable building.
If you are interested in attending, representing your organisation or bringing a stall or stand contact ecocentre@derbyshire.gov.uk.
Visit the Eco Centre website for more information about the Centre and the courses offered."
Please see attached poster for 'Eco Builders' Tea' 24/6/11 at Derbyshire Eco Centre. Talks in the afternoon re traditional building maintenance, eco refurb and building defects. Open day and demonstrations the following day.
