    Hello!
Hoping to do this in as environmentally friendly way as possible. Would you be interested in replacing the flat roof on a garage? A good price paid to the right person.

Your advice would be appreciated too. The area is Orpington, on the edge of South East London, near Kent.

    Best wishes,
    Tamara

    Hi
Am a green builder in Whitstable (kent) with an interest in strawbale and green roof projects, you can check my website @ www.tombuild.com (it's rough and not particularly thorough) am doing a similar project in Croydon this Summer so at the very least can pass some info your way.
If you go for a green roof (whereby the roof acts as a large raised bed or boggy area) then inevitably the load bearing of the existing roof and wall structures will be the key to the depth of soil/fill you can place on any new roof - ideally a green roof with skylights (to avoid the use of lighting during the day).
    Cheers
    Tom

EPDM is a good option if a proper green roof is a bit 'too green' for you. Plenty of roofers will offer this option.
